Nursery and Gardening 

This course has been started in the college since 2018. Life Long Learning and Extension Department of Shivaji University, Kolhapur has approved and recognised this course. This course is open for all the students who have passed HSC exam from any board and from any faculty. Considering the hilly area and biodiversity around the college, we thought that by this course some essential skills may be inculcate among the students. Primary and essential knowledge about nursery and Gardening is disseminated through this course. During this course the students have to face 60 marks written and 40 marks practical examination. The course duration is four months. First batch of 10 students is passed out. Some field visits are arranged to give practical exposure to the students enrolled.  This course has recorded very good results. Prof. D.A.Sardesai ( Department of Geography) is working as course coordinator. Miss Maya Jadhav (Dept. of Botony) and Mr.Ajit Patil ( Department of Horticulture) are working as visiting faculty.
