The Department of Marathi was established in 1992. The
department organizes various programs to enhance quality of
students and create interest among them about literature. The
department also organizes workshops such as writing novels,
job opportunities regarding Marathi subject, wallpapers, poet
concert and interview with renowned writers for the students.
The alumni has qualified NET and SET, and obtained Ph.D.
degree. Most of the alumni are working as reporter, service in
police department and as successful businessman. The faculty
of the Department have published their research articles in
various journals. One of the faculty members is Ph.D. guide in
Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
