A Course in Pragmatic English

                  This course is run under Lifelong Learning and Extension Department of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The college is successfully running this course since 2007. This course is open for all students of all departments. Principal of the college Dr. A.D. Kumbhar has designed this course and the university has honored it by launching for the benefit of all colleges. The college has to send proposal every year and get it sanctioned. Anyone qualifying XII can apply for this course. Students are taught speaking, Reading and writing English through audios, videos, English Crossword Puzzles, skits and variety of skill-based games. The students have to face 70 marks written and 30 marks oral examinations. The course has maintained the tradition of 100 percent results each year. We are sure that the same tradition will be continued even in future. Asst. Prof. Vinodkumar Ashok Pradhan of English Department is looking after the course as Co-ordinator and Teacher.

The duration of the course is of Three Months. After it is finished, before exam, 26th January i.e. The Republic Day is our target when students of this course give speeches in English before audience, to convince them how they have achieved the success in Learning Speaking in English.
